As the Trustee for the block of flats in which I live, I have responsibility for arranging contractors as and when problems arise.  As a consequence I have had to use the services of Drain & Able on more than one occasion.  I have been extremely impressed by all aspects of their work, including the way my problem was dealt with on first calling them.  Speed of response to call, ie if emergency or can it wait for 12 or 24 hours.  When an emergency, they have pulled out all the stops to get here as soon as they can.  Communications throughout the work, either from those on site, or from their office, is honest and open.  Workmanship is professional and to a high standard.  The Health & Safety of customer and in my case other residents is paramount, ie cones, areas marked off, etc.  When work has been done, work area returned to previous state as much as possible.  Courteous and respectful, such as taking shoes off when entering property, careful use of rods and plungers, so as not to do any damage to toilet bowl or splash on surfaces.  Clear estimates and explanation, as detailed as required, and kept to them.  Sound advice ie to speak to Thames Water first and the reason to do so, even when it meant losing potential business.  Good value.  Overall, a first class experience.  I would recommend them without question or hesitation.  I know that they sound “too good to be true” but I know that Kevin has built a business which is run on very high standards.

“I was so impressed by your very prompt service.  Everything you said would happen, happened.  I had immediate call back and I had two very pleasant engineers knock on my door within two hours.  I had been told that if they discovered that my drains were shared that they would have to hand it over to Thames Water (from October 2011 Thames Water have taken responsiblity for shared drains).  This is exactly what happened.  But instead of just leaving me they gave me the number for Thames Water and stayed with me until I had made the call, making sure that if there were any questions to answer they were there to help me.  Thames Water eventually came out midday, the following day and were able to unblock my drain.  I would like to add that it wasn’t my fault!!!  If anyone asked if I knew of anyone I recommended to look at my drains I would say “Drain & Able.”  From the lady that takes the call to the engineers on your door step.  Friendly, prompt and professional service.  Well done Drain & Able.”
